For residential customers, we offer the following services:
At your estimate, we will discuss the products we use and offer options such as low and zero VOC paints. We take great pride on our work, but we also take great pride in your family's health and well being. At EJ's, we don't use "builder grade" paints that leave that new paint smell hanging around for days. That smell is VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and just because the smell disappears, doesn't mean the VOCs have. VOCs can be released into the air for years after painting which pollutes your indoor air and can cause anything from eye irritations to asthma attacks and beyond. We give you the choice to use Zero VOC or Low VOC paints in your home. We use paints like Benjamin Moore's Eco Spec, Natura, and Aura which are all LEED accredited. These are great options for anyone concerned about the health or environmental effects of paint. Our owners are knowledgeable and can guide you on what types of paint are best for your home.
Once your project beings, our owners will be on site doing the work themselves. We feel that preparation is the key to a long lasting, quality paint job and we include all caulking, sanding and priming. Our painters are professional and take pride in a job well done. The project isn't complete until we clean up at the end of each day. We don't leave ladders and materials laying around for days at a time. At the end of each day, we remove all work materials and clean the area.
Once we are finished, we invite you to look over everything to be sure you are satisfied. EJ's Painting has been in business for over 30 years because we make sure every customer is satisfied with the work.
